These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Design Dreams website and the interior design and styling services provided by Design Dreams (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

Design Dreams is a boutique interior design and styling studio offering services including, but not limited to:

• Interior design and styling

• Short-term rental (STR) design and furnishing

• Space planning and concept development

• Furniture, décor, and accessory sourcing

• E-design services

• Brand Styling

• Project coordination with subcontracted trades

The scope of services for each project will be outlined in a written proposal, agreement, or invoice. Any services outside the agreed scope may require additional fees.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and timely information related to the project

Respond to communications and approvals within a reasonable timeframe

Grant reasonable access to the property as required for site visits, installations, or trade work

Ensure the property is safe and accessible for Design Dreams team members and subcontracted trades

Delays caused by lack of client communication, access, or approvals may affect project timelines and are not the responsibility of Design Dreams.

Payments & Fees

Payment terms will be outlined in your proposal or invoice. Unless otherwise stated:

E-transfers are accepted at renee@designdreams.org
 with no additional fees

Credit card payments are accepted and subject to processing fees:

Visa / Mastercard: 2.9%

American Express (AMEX): 3.4%

As a boutique design studio, Design Dreams appreciates client understanding of standard processing fees.

Invoices must be paid according to the timelines outlined. Late payments may result in paused work, delayed timelines, or withheld deliverables until payment is received.

Purchases & Third-Party Vendors

Design Dreams may source furniture, décor, materials, or services from third-party vendors on behalf of the client.

All purchases are subject to vendor availability, lead times, warranties, and return policies

Design Dreams is not responsible for delays, defects, backorders, discontinued items, or changes made by third-party vendors

Refunds, exchanges, or warranties are governed by the vendor’s policies, not Design Dreams

Once items are approved and ordered, they are considered final unless otherwise stated in writing.

Subcontracted Trades & Site Coordination

Design Dreams may work with trusted subcontracted trades and service providers to complete project work.

Relevant client information may be shared with subcontracted trades for coordination purposes

Subcontracted trades may contact clients directly if required for scheduling or clarification.

Design Dreams is not responsible for the independent actions, timelines, or workmanship of subcontracted trades, though we aim to collaborate with trusted professionals.

Project Timelines

All timelines provided are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Client response times

• Product availability and shipping delays

• Trade scheduling

• Weather, access, or site conditions

Design Dreams is not liable for delays caused by these factors.

Intellectual Property

All design concepts, mood boards, drawings, layouts, styling plans, photographs, and written materials created by Design Dreams remain the intellectual property of Design Dreams unless otherwise agreed in writing.

These materials may not be copied, shared, reproduced, or used for another project without prior written consent.

Photography & Marketing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Design Dreams reserves the right to photograph completed projects for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes. Client privacy is always respected, and no personal or sensitive information will be disclosed.

Cancellations & Termination

Either party may terminate a project in writing. Any work completed up to the termination date will remain payable.

Deposits, retainers, or payments already made may be non-refundable, depending on the stage of the project and expenses incurred. This will be clarified in your project agreement.

Limitation of Liability

Design Dreams is not liable for:

Normal wear and tear of furnishings or materials

Changes in product availability or pricing

Acts or omissions of third-party vendors or subcontractors

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services rendered.

Website Use

All content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, Design Dreams makes no guarantees regarding completeness or suitability for any specific purpose.

Unauthorized use of website content is prohibited.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Changes to These Terms

Design Dreams reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
